Madonna Hits Back At Trolls Who Mocked Her ‘New Face’ At The Grammys

Madonna is still catching a lot of flak for turning up at the Grammys looking like Jigsaw from the SAW movies, and has hit back at the likes of Piers Morgan and online trolls who have been taking the mickey out of her ever since.

In a post on Instagram, Madonna shared a montage of herself on the night, hanging out with the likes of Sam Smith, simulating a blowjob, and addressing her critics in the caption beneath:

I have never apologized for any of the creative choices I have made nor the way that I look or dress and I’m not going to start. I have been degraded by the media since the beginning of my career but I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come.

Listen, fair play to the girl. She may be 64 years old and determined to age ungracefully but at the end of the day that’s her choice and she’s been successful enough in life to basically do whatever the hell she wants.

Obviously there is justifiable concern about her behaviour in general on social media these last couple years, and how much of it is drug-induced and whatnot, but apparently her friends and family aren’t concerned enough to stop her or at least confiscate her phone so leave her to it, I say. You don’t hit legend status and accumulate a net worth of $850M to have other people tell you what to do, do you? Of course not. Go Madonna Go!
