Sick Chirpse presents the first instalment of a list (in no particular order) of the greatest scenes of cinematic sexism ever released in mainstream cinema.

The rules for inclusion are as follows:

A. The sexist behaviour in the scene cannot be a set up for the woman to get her own back later on.

B. The scene cannot be making a greater point about the nature of sexism.

C. The scene cannot come from a pornographic film.

So, basically, this isn’t about Mad Men style commentary on pre-feminist society. The misogyny must only happen because the people who made the film thought it was funny/ accurate/ just. Click below to see the first films to make the list.
