A panel of 100 judges decided this year’s winners in multiple categories, and the frontrunners were honored in front of over 500 industry professionals.
As mentioned by DogSlots, “This year’s G2E was crazy, all due to the massive changes in the regulatory framework that is slowly rolling across America. Big deals and big announcements were the theme of the conference.”
Also speaking about the ceremony was the COO of Gambling Insider, Julian Perry who said: “We would like to give our congratulations to all winners at this year’s ceremony, and I would personally like to thank everyone who has contributed to making this year’s Awards a success. It’s been fantastic to see how the Awards have grown in the past six years, and after securing a record number of experienced industry judges this year, I am certain they will continue to go from strength to strength.”

Best Digital Operator: DraftKings
It was an incredible year for digital operators across the industry, and competition was tough. But in the end, DraftKings elbowed off its rivals such as 888 Holdings, Resorts Digital and FanDuel to take the crown. DraftKings’ staked its first physical spot in New Jersey’s Atlantic City in November last year, with the opening of its sportsbook at Resorts Casino.

Best Digital Product: Scientific Games – OpenSports
Last year, Scientific Games took the same title but with a different product (OpenBet). This time around, the group’s newly updated sports betting portfolio landed Scientific its second successive title.
Best Land-Based Industry Supplier: Aristocrat
Aristocrat, the global company, which operates in 300 gaming jurisdictions and 90 different countries around the world, took this well-deserved title. Aristocrat is especially well-known for its Helix XT and EDGE X cabinets.
Best Industry Supplier: Kambi
Kambi has seen a meteoric entry into the newly opened US sports betting market, following the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the controversial PASPA in May last year. Best Customer Loyalty Program: MGM Resorts – M life
M life held the title in this category for four consecutive years before Caesars Entertainment came along to upset its position last year. MGM fought to regain the crown this year, and its efforts paid off.

Combining unified gaming and product merchandising package, the Infinity V55 was first spotted at G2E 2018, and went on to grab this year’s title.
Best Slot: Aristocrat – Buffalo Diamond
The global powerhouse, Aristocrat dazzled the industry last year in the Best Slots division with its blockbuster slot Game of Thrones. The game is themed on the award-guzzling TV show of the same name. Its striking exterior – two huge curved screens with one on top of the other – matches the grandeur of the actual game play on the three reels. Aristocrat’s Game of Thrones slot boasts bonus rounds, 3D effects, and highly-rewarding progressive bonuses.
This year, Aristocrat reclaimed its title in the Best Slots category with Buffalo Diamond slot. Similar to the software group’s Buffalo Grand games, this slot is well-deserving of the honor. The reels appear in a diamond configuration, giving players lots of opportunity to win. Wheel bonus games award jackpots and free games, where wild multipliers appear on the middle reels and gold coins re-trigger the feature.

Best American Executive: David Lopez (AGS)
