Dizzee Rascal just made a very exciting announcement – he is going to play his 2003, 15-track album ‘Boy in da Corner’ in full at a London venue.

Earlier this year he performed a similar show in New York, although he did express that he wished to do the same in his home city.

This comes 13 years after the album’s release and I think it’s safe to say that the gig will sell out pretty fucking quick. That album was iconic and gave mainstream exposure to the grime scene. Not only that, but some of the album’s songs have hardly ever been played much before, despite being so loved across the country. So I’m sure many people will jump at the chance to see the entire thing performed by the one and only.

The gig is part of the 2016 Red Bull Music Academy and will take place on October 21st. The venue is yet to be confirmed – it’d better be somewhere big.

We’ll keep you posted on tickets and other information. In the meantime, enjoy:
