Softcore porn star Cherry Samkhok reported to police recently on a charge of public obscenity due to a risqué dance she performed at the Bangkok Motor Show.
The actress and her male dancing partner Apisit Sae-ung were both fined THB5,000 for their ‘crime’. That’s actually only about 100 quid, but in Thailand you can literally pay rent and eat out for a month on that amount. Plus it’s pretty ridiculous to get charged in the first place judging by the dance. Yeah, it’s sexy and all that, but you’d see far worse down Oceana on a Friday night. Check it:

Surely that’s not worth getting charged over, particularly in a city where child prostitutes and happy ending massage parlours are rife.
I wonder what Bangkok police would have to say about this sad excuse for a lap dance? They’d probably pay her to stay away.
