Another day, another theory about Julia Wendell, the girl who is travelling around the world and claiming that she’s Madeleine McCann.

This one comes courtesy of body language expert Adrianne Carter who claims that Wendell was ‘fearful’ and ‘nervous’ during her appearance on Dr Phil on Monday night. Here’s what she had to say about it:

We see Julia swallow when hearing the statement from her parents.

In this context, Julia could be feeling stressed or fearful in case any evidence comes to light that proves she isn’t Maddie.

When being asked about DNA results, we see Julia take an intake of breath.

This is a sign of feeling fearful.

I think she’s fearful of the results of the DNA as it could prove her claims false,

Geez did this woman really become a body language expert to throw out analysis like this all the time? It’s just that that seems glaringly obvious to me even as someone who doesn’t claim to really know anything about body language.

What’s more, I’m pretty sure anyone would be scared in that position even if she was pretty much certain that she was Madeleine McCann because there’s always a chance that something could go wrong with the tests etc and cast (even more) doubt on her claims. It’s hardly a weird or crucial reaction in this situation.

So yeah, pretty useless comments there Adrianne, try harder next time. Don’t quit your day job and if it is your day job then fair play, you’ve gamed the system.

For more of the same, check out Wendell talking about her father delivering her a key piece of evidence. Is it actually real though?
