What the…? Was that an illusion or is Adele legit becoming invisible/time travelling/shape shifting in front of our very eyes. I mean Adele reached Illuminati status a long time ago so surely she’s learnt how to do all that stuff by now. I must’ve watched this clip about 7 times and I still can’t wrap my brain around it! Even the slow motion doesn’t help:

The only other explanation is that there’s a trap door under the stage and Adele literally plummets into a sheer drop every night and lands on a huge padded mattress or something. Which is a pretty funny mental image given how mesmerising it looks on stage.
However it works, would be pretty cool to exit places like that all the time. Good option to have the next time she runs into Damon Albarn.
