Bradley Cooper Says Zendaya Is The Modern-Day Marlon Brando: ‘She’s So Incredible’

Zendaya has been on an insane run in Hollywood these last few years, starring in Euphoria, Spider-Man, Dune and now The Odyssey as the goddess Athena. I mean, anytime you land a starring role in a Christopher Nolan film, I think that’s a sign that you’re absolutely A-list certified.

Well anyway, her performances have now prompted some insane praise from fellow big timer Bradley Cooper, who raved about Zendaya during a chat with Interview magazine.

On Zendaya’s performance in the season finale of Euphoria, he said: “I don’t think I’ve come across an actor that’s floored me like that. I mean, it’s like Elizabeth Taylor meets Marlon Brando.”

Whoa! That is high praise indeed. He’s basically saying Zendaya is what would happen if Marlon Brando and Elizabeth Taylor had a baby that was born with all their innate acting abilities.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t seen that much Zendaya to say with any confidence that Bradley Cooper is chatting sh1t here, but the general sentiment online is that he is. Although in fairness, what do you expect out of the internet aside from pure cynicism?

‘Would like to see her in something where she shows actual vulnerability. Even in Euphoria where she is a drug addict she was channeling main character energy.’

‘I’m not a Zendaya hater; in fact, I think she’s a good actress in the films I’ve seen her in, but a modern-day Marlon Brando, seriously?’

‘She’s like Elizabeth Taylor meets Marlon Brando if they were both in a coma.’

‘Did Marlon Brando also only have one facial expression or am I missing something here?’

Well, whether anyone agrees with Bradley Cooper or not, Zendaya’s movies are on course to make literally billions this year as she goes on to potentially become one the most successful Disney Channel kids of all time.

Obviously there’s a chance her movies flop this year but it’s doubtful given we’re talking about The Odyssey and Dune 3 here. Who else is having that kind of run in Hollywood this year? Fair play to her.
