The World’s Tallest Basketball Player Is Massively Disappointing

This is Tacko ‘Taco’ Fall. He’s a 7’5” high school student, wears a size 22 shoe and has an 8-foot wingspan and is probably the tallest basketball player in the world.

The Internet’s freaking out over this kid and how he’s going to dominate the professional leagues in the future but looking at his record, it’s actually not very impressive at all. He averages 11 points a game, 1 block a game and 5 rebounds. Is that it? You’re 7 foot 5 dude — a giant. Literally head and shoulders above everyone else on the court and you’re pulling off one block a game?

OK he’s still young and not a professional yet but let’s not gas this guy up like he’s the next Michael Jordan if he can’t even score more than 11 points a game or block more than one shot at that size.
