A woman named Alicia Schmidt has been dubbed the “sexiest athlete in the world” after sending the internet into meltdown with her Instagram posts.

She’s already been tipped as a future star of German athletics and is set to nail it at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. Already Schmidt has been impressing at junior level and has helped Germany take silver in 4×400 relay at this summer’s European Athletics Under-20 Championships.

And it appears that she’s been nailing it too off the track via her social media accounts.

All this hard work has accumulated Schmidt over 30,000 followers on social media as well as her being named the “sexiest athlete in the world”. Not a bad title to have, although I’m sure she’s far more excited about the prospect of winning the gold at the 2020 Olympics. Watch this space.

Something tells me the Tokyo Olympics are going to be a little more tame than the Rio ones.
