So it was only last week that we reported on Daniella Hirst, 28, and Craig Smith, 31. This couple were facing jail after being caught on CCTV getting it on whilst ordering Domino’s pizza. Classy.

Now it appears that barmaid Daniella has provided her side of the story, admitting her wrongdoings and apologising for acting that way in a public place:

I regret it and if I could change it believe me I would.

I was drunk and it was a horrible mistake.

This isn’t me. I’m not normally like this.

I was playing about with my boyfriend who I love and it got totally out of hand.

The truth is the only people to blame are Craig and me. We are the ones at fault and we’re going to have to take what happens on the chin.

What we did was horrendous and we deserve to be punished.

Daniella has since pleaded guilty to outraging public decency after her legal team failed to block the CCTV from being shown in court. Sounds like she’s truly sorry for what she did.

Craig on the other hand did not appear in court as he was already on remand in prison for a previous fight and was found guilty in his absence. The couple will be sentenced later next month. Sounds like things aren’t looking good for these two at the moment – imagine trying to explain their charge in prison.

“What are you in for?”

“I had sex whilst ordering Domino’s pizza.”

That’s going to go down well.
