Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney has been left embarrassed recently after ‘liking’ a whole collection of porn videos on Twitter.

Predictably the footballer has received a barrage of abuse on Twitter after liking a site called ‘Daily Sex Videos’, which in turn announced his admiration to his 13.7 million followers. The site is known for posting hardcore porn videos. Whoops.

Meanwhile, loads of people were tweeting the notification to his wife, Coleen Rooney, who probably isn’t too happy about the whole thing. Especially since he’s previously been caught out for having threesomes with prostitutes.

But the funniest thing about this whole incident is the statement released by a spokesperson for Rooney:
He was clearing unwanted items from his Twitter feed when he accidentally pressed ‘like’ instead of ‘delete’ on this one.
Lol. Flimsy excuse dude. Still, I guess you’ve got to at least come up with some sort of explanation as to why your client is a useless dumbass. Good one Rooney.
