As the hype for the new ‘IT’ movie shows no signs of dying down, this week saw the release of the official trailer, and boy does it look fucking terrifying.

See what I mean? I’m not sure if you remember the trailer for the original 90s miniseries, but basically there are many similarities between the two. In fact, the updated 2017 trailer is pretty much a shot-for-shot repeat of the original, only with a few modern spins. As a result, someone has decided to put a video of the two trailers playing side-by-side, so you can decide for yourself which one is scarier:

While the original one might have been more, well, original, it’s safe to say that the new trailer makes the movie look far scarier. In fact, people were so shit scared of the new version that they literally ran out of the theatre screaming. Can’t wait for the actual movie.
