Best Laid Plans
Based around John Steinbeck’s novel ‘Of Mice & Men’ the movie centres round the rogue Danny and gentle giant Joseph who has the mental age of a seven year old. Stephen Graham puts in a sterling performance as the thug who puts all his own needs to the forefront whilst manipulating Joseph by having him placed in cage fights to pay off his debts to the Nottingham underworld. A well acted thought provoking drama that has an unsettling tone throughout the movie.
