I don’t really know a lot about surfing but when you watch people ride waves as big as the ones featured in the video below you can’t help but be impressed. It seems like those in the know are excited about it too because they’ve been nominated for the top XXL five waves of the year in the Billabong awards below.

Some of these waves on their own are truly incredible and I’ve got no idea how any of these surfers even attempt to ride them, let alone actually succeed. Mad respect, although it will never be as cool as a surfing goat.
