As you no doubt heard in the news over the past couple of days, Facebook bought Whatsapp for a whopping $19 billion in a bid to absolutely dominate mobile networks which will probably succeed, you know because they’re Facebook and they take over everything they touch and will eventually achieve world domination and there’s not much anyone can do about it.

The fact that Whatsapp cost $16 billion is incredible though and to put this into perspective some smartass has created a Tumblr that features all the things that are actually cheaper to buy than Whatsapp, including a US aircraft carrier and the entire country of Jamaica. Wow.
