‘Rick and Morty’ is the go-to stoner cartoon, so it makes sense that to commemorate the show’s very own virtual reality game, it is being released on 4/20.

It’s been nearly a year since Owlchemy Labs and Adult Swim announced the production of ‘Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-Ality’, claiming it would be “coming soon”.

We all know how those guys love to trick us, but thankfully we finally have the release date. In case you don’t know what 4/20 is (where the fuck have you been hiding?), it is a code-term that refers to a holiday in which everyone smokes a shit ton of weed on April 20th.

The game itself puts players into one of Morty’s clone shoes and players have to complete tasks using VR technology. Developer Alex Schwartz said:

The game takes place in Rick’s garage . Rick’s garage is filled with tons of stuff to play with. Chemistry sets and just boxes of things on the shelves. Elements from the show. It’s fully crammed in there.

Not exactly a groundbreaking way to use VR, but it sounds like it could be something fun to do while you’re getting baked. Plus it gives you an excuse to use your headset for something other than porn. Enjoy.
