I’m not sure if this is 100% real because I find it hard to believe that two parents could hate their son just because he was queer, but as the guy says, he couldn’t make half of it up so I’m coming round to the idea that it is. His parents are probably from Alabama or something.

In any case, he’s documented the last three years of text conversations he’s had with his mother about his homosexuality since he came out, and even though some of the things she says are kind of hilarious because they’re so narrow minded and bigoted, it must be pretty heartbreaking for him to have to deal with this level of stupidity from his own mother on a regular basis. Here’s hoping that choosing to put these on the internet will help in some way.
