A TV segment on Mexican TV show Con Sello de Mujer went a bit wrong this week when a lion went for a young baby during a live broadcast.

It’s thought the baby’s high-pitch whining set the lion off.
Luckily the experts were on hand to make sure the kid didn’t get eaten alive. Just imagine what a fucking disaster that would have been:

Have humans learnt nothing from the death of Harambe? Still happy to leave a small vulnerable human next to a wild animal and then blame the animal when it attacks. Next thing you know you’ve got a zookeeper on hand to shoot the lion dead just for being a lion. How about we make sure they stay separated from now on?
