This video/story will probably upset most people who don’t want to beat up animals (which is hopefully all of you) because it’s pretty brutal and sad. However, there is a link to a petition you can sign at the end of the article that is hoping to convince the judge to give these two morons the maximum sentence possible to deter anything like this from happening again. We urge you to sign it.

The whole thing took place over in St Louis County, Missouri, where two teenagers thought that it would be really funny to grab a dog and suplex him into the ground, then punch and kick him repeatedly whilst filming it. To be fair maybe they do have some friends who thought it was really funny, because once they posted it online the video racked up over 4000 shares. Not sure if these were from like minded people or people who were grossed out by their actions, but let’s hope it was the latter.

Some of these people definitely did exist though as the St Louis County police department, and the two teenagers were subsequently arrested and taken to the family court. On the other hand, the dog seems to be OK despite the pummelling it took and is currently in a home and might be available for adoption soon.

Animal rights campaigners in the area want to see the teenagers given the maximum punishment possible for their actions to act as a deterrent for future crimes of this ilk, and have set up an internet petition to try and get some legitimacy for this. Their target is 100K signatures and they’re currently on around 80K at the time of writing – if you want to sign it then head here.

Below is a news report on the incident which features some of the video of the kids beating up the dog. If that’s going to upset you again, I advise you not to watch it.
