Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles In Stop Motion

If you’re anything like me then you probably got pissed off or were at least slightly disappointed when I posted about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles changing their Cowabunga catchphrase to Boyakasha recently, so maybe this post will cheer you up. It’s basically a completely accurate reimagination of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles title sequence in stop motion. Everyone knows that stop motion is super cool and this is no different and actually looks super fun. It’s kind of lame that they don’t use the official music and have some crappy punk cover band called the Boom Bangs – really terrible name – playing it (I like punk covers as well, so trust me when I say this one really is kind of crappy) but other than that it’s a lot of fun. I can’t really say much more about it because it’s just a stop motion version of a famous title sequence, but look out for a really cool surprise when Splinter shows up. Makes the whole video for me.

I also threw in a behind the scenes making of video underneath if you want to check that stuff out. This is worth tuning into simply for the fact that you get to see the Boom Bangs play the song live and they look even lamer than you would imagine them looking from the way the song sounds. Enjoy!
