That warning comes after research revealed that women who watch porn films are generally less satisfied than females who steer clear of the X-rated stuff.

Scientists claim that women who watch porn end up feeling short-changed in the bedroom when their prospective partners fail to measure up to their adult movie heroes.

Everything from penis size to stamina face increased scrutiny amongst porn-loving women, according to the research.

The psychological study, conducted by researchers from the University of New Brunswick, saw 1,000 adults polled, two third of which were young women.

According to the findings, there was a clear link between women who viewed porn and a dissatisfaction with their partners’ appearance as well as evidence that these females had “unrealistic expectations” in the bedroom.

Kaitlyn Goldsmith, a sex expert who led the study, highlighted the problems porn presented to blokes everywhere:

Intercourse is shown to last longer than average, men sustain erections longer and women experience orgasms more easily than in real-world encounters.

Genitalia can be digitally or cosmetically altered, depicting larger than average penis size.

The findings come hot on the heels of new data from adult movie streaming specialists PornHub, which showed that around one in every four visitors to the site is now female and the phrase “big dick” was one of the most popular search items for women.
