A student over in the U.S. has been expelled from school after posting an image on his social media account of a fake license to hunt black people. I can’t believe I even just typed that.

The license said that the carrier had permission to hunt black people during open season from January 1st to December 31st. This kid should be arrested, not expelled.

Officials at the Highlands School District in Pennsylvania have said that the student posted an image of the license on his social media accounts along with a racial slur. They took immediate action after becoming aware of it last week.

School superintendent Dr Michael Bjalobok said:

[The photo] got forwarded to multiple [people], that’s when we became aware.

Someone turned it into principal Dan Gottron [and] he started to investigate.

It’s just a horrible type of situation – totally unacceptable.

We will not tolerate this and we’re going to definitely follow our board policy in issuing consequences for this action.

I think it’s just shocking proof that racism is still very much alive and well, not just in America, but across the world. But the fact that this kid was so comfortable with posting something like that is simply terrifying – if some kid did that when I was at school he would’ve gotten the living shit beaten out of him. It’s sickening – the parents should be ashamed of themselves.

And then of course over in London, we’ve got shit like these racist Pokemon cards getting posted around the city. What’s happened to the world?
