I don’t know the first thing about American college basketball, but apparently it’s a big deal even over at Boston College where they haven’t won a single game all season.

After their latest game, one of the players was asked what his best memory of playing college basketball would be. His answer was unexpected, to say the least:

Possibly the saddest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. I mean OK I get what he means — he’s going to miss the comradery and hanging out with the boys. But you’ve GOT to phrase it better than that. You’ve got to make it absolutely clear what you mean, instead of just coming out with “going out to eat” while choking back the tears. Now he’s gone super viral and will probably never be able to live this down. Full marks for honesty though.
