Someone Donated Sixty Ounces Of Weed To A Charity Shop
Earlier this week, a Goodwill shop in Washington, US, was donated a cooler box.
It might not be the most exciting product, but nevertheless the shop owners got to work preparing it for sale. However, when they took the lid off, they found five large bags containing a whopping sixty ounces of weed. That’s mighty generous of the donator.
While it’s legal in Washington for people over the age of 21 to own one ounce of cannabis, the stash was over 60 times the limit. With this in mind, the employees at the shop immediately called the police. Debbie Willis of the Monroe Police Department said:
We went over there and they opened the lid and in there was five large bags of marijuana.
Normally when we go there, it is for a shoplifter, but not anything like this.
Since the discovery, police have been trying to track down the owner of the cooler, but they’re having trouble as they’re unsure if it was donated at the shop location or at a Goodwill trailer in another town. Willis added:
However there are many people on social media claiming it’s theirs, but we have yet to have one walk through the door.
I’m sure there are. It’s a tricky one because obviously you’d be gagging to claim 60 free ounces of weed, but you’d also get some serious jail time for possessing so much of it. Probably not worth the bother. I bet whoever accidentally donated the load is absolutely kicking themselves right now.
