Eugene Bostick officially retired 15 years ago, but has kept himself busy with possibly the greatest retirement plan we’ve ever heard of — being a train conductor for rescued stray dogs.

Eugene explained:

We live down on a dead-end street, where me and my brother have a horse barn. People sometimes come by and dump dogs out here, leaving them to starve. So, we started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get sprayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live.

Most awesome of all though, Eugene keeps the dogs entertained by taking them on tractor rides on his custom made dog tractor train which he built himself:

I really think Eugene may have just changed my retirement plans completely. Just adopt a shit load of dogs and hang out with them and take them on tractor rides in the sunshine all day. Life can’t get any better than that, surely?

Unless we add a weekly dog swimming pool party to the mix.
