One of the guns used in the Paris terrorist attacks has been linked to an arms dealer in the United States.

Milojko Brzakovic, head of Serbian arms factory Zastava, says the M92 semi-automatic pistol’s serial number traces back to a weapon delivered to online arms dealer Century Arms. The US-based company received the gun in 2013, and no one can explain how it found its way into Europe.

Brzakovic says all guns arrive legally with Century Arms, but he can’t explain how this one ended up in the hands of terrorists:

Zastava cannot be blamed for where it went afterward. Wherever there are wars, there are bigger possibilities for abuse and to hide the channels for guns.

Century Arms had advertised the AK-style pistol PAP M92 as “a brand new firearm from the Zastava factory in Serbia.” Here’s what it looks like:

Century Arms imports about 25,000 weapons a year from Zastava, and they say it’s all done by the book, though concede that anyone who isn’t interested in doing the same can find illegal ways export firearms out of any country.

Brzakovic also said that the gun in question was delivered to them as a semi-automatic, but someone might have modified it before the attacks in Paris were carried out.

I guess the fact that you don’t need to register your firearms in the US works to any terrorist’s advantage. I mean seriously, how many more reasons do you need to implement tighter gun controls in your country seeing as you’re too stupid to outright ban them? How is anyone who purchases a gun in the US not require to at least register it?

Hand a gun out to anyone who wants one and obviously it’s not going to be too difficult for a terrorist to get his hands on one.

Come on America, sort yourselves out.
