Oreo Creme Eggs Look Like Every Stoner’s Fantasy
January is never a good time of the year – it’s cold, nobody has any money, everyone is fat, nobody is drinking etc. Which is why we need news like this to cheer us up.
You’ll be happy to know that Cadbury’s Creme Eggs have introduced an Oreo flavour and they’re already on sale in the UK. Talk about a soft launch.
In case you’re in any doubt as to just what an Oreo Creme Egg would consist of, then it’s basically the same chunky shell as your regular Creme Egg, but inside you’ll find Oreo cream and biscuit rather than your usual fondant centre. Here’s a picture of one of them:
#TBT / Please God bring these to the U.S.! Last year I sent a Canadian the Cinnamon Bun Oreos, and her return gift was 12 expertly packed Cadbury Oreo Eggs. These were an easy and convincing 10/10, even besting the new Reese's Eggs I posted about the other day. Whose Oreo D do we have to suck to get these in the States? 🤔#AskingForAFriend #ImTheFriend
The only slightly bad news about the new Oreo Creme Egg is that you can’t get it as a regular sized egg, but only as the mini sized ones that you can see above. That isn’t that much of a problem, but it’ll probably make you way fatter as you’ll munch a bunch of them all at once rather than one big one at a time. So it goes.
Here’s what a Cadbury’s spokesperson had to say about the new launch:
We are always innovating our product ranges and there are lots of exciting things to come from the Cadbury brand this year and beyond.
As part of our Easter range this year we have launched new Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon Oreo, which will be available alongside our existing Oreo Easter products including the Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Shell Egg and the Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Easter Egg Sharing Bag.
What are you waiting for? Probably wanna grab a pack of these tomorrow at lunch and share them around your office – you’ll be the toast of the town.
