The official trailer for Tom Nagel’s new movie ‘ClownTown’ just dropped and it looks scary as hell. I mean, clowns in horror films are always scary anyway. But now that we’ve got a movie with a 2016 horror twist, it’s like ‘Clownhouse’ on crack. Seriously, the clowns in this look horrific.

The film is about a group of buddies who end up stranded in a small town and are then stalked by a gang of violent psychopaths dressed as clowns. Pretty basic premise but then with regards to horror, the basics are always the best ones. Apparently the plot was inspired by the clowns who terrorised Bakersfield, CA in 2014. Gotta love a true story twist as well. Check it out below:
There’s no official release date yet, but clearly it’s forecasted for a 2016 release so keep an eye out – something tells me this is going to be a good one.
This year really is racking up a shit tonne of amazing looking horror movies – we’ve got ‘Rob Zombie’s 31’, ‘Lights Out’, ‘The Invitation’ and now this. I think the horror gods have been answering some prayers.
