If you’ve been looking forward to this game for a while now, you already now that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is based in Victorian-era London, circa 1868.

It’s a pretty big deal, so much so that this new trailer they’ve dropped doesn’t even feature anything to do with the players or story, it just takes a look around the awesome locations you’ll be visiting in the game. There’ll be seven familiar areas to navigate through — the City of London, Lambeth, Southwark, the Strand, Thames, Westminster and Whitechapel.

Looks like this will be another welcome addition to a series which already contains nine well-received titles.

One thing they’re doing differently with Syndicate is you’ll be able to switch back and forth between two main characters (GTA style) — twins Jacob and Evie Frye both fighting to free London from Templar control.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate drops on Xbox One and PS4 on October 23rd, and on PC the following month.

In the meantime, here’s some real life Assassin’s Creed parkour action to whet your appetite some more.
