As if we didn’t already know that this is Mark Zuckerberg’s world and we’re merely living in it, the Facebook tycoon is now suing 300 Hawaiians in order to force them to sell their land to make his £80million property more secluded. Come on man, give normal people a break.

Apparently his 750-acre Kauai estate includes around 12 plots of land still held down by native families. In order to get his dirty mits on it, he’s created a legal move sinisterly titled, ‘quiet title and partition.’ Not only will it see the families lose their land that has been in their families for generations, but they would also lose the right to access Zuckerberg’s estate in return for a fee.

This legal action comes after his neighbours apparently are angry about a seven-foot stone wall which is currently being constructed around the estate as it ruins the surrounding area and view. What is it with Billionaires and walls these days?

Zuckerberg’s lawyer has said that the legal action was, “the standard and prescribed process to identify all potential co-owners, determine ownership, and ensure that, if there are other co-owners, each receives appropriate value for their ownership share.”

Whatever – it sounds pretty heartless if you ask me. I just wonder at what point do people like him turn into an evil, selfish tyrant? He comes from a humble background and obviously worked his way to the top. So did he just wake up one day, check his bank account and go, “yes, I now officially have enough to lose all regard for everyone else”? Or maybe the penny dropped when he realised he holds the power over nearly every human on this planet. Yeah, probably the latter.
