Man Murders Son, Tries To Kill Himself So He Can Fight Him In The Afterlife

A Minnesota man fatally shot his son during an argument over whether to get cable in their home or not, then tried to kill himself so they could continue fighting in the “afterlife.”

84 year old Pang Se Vang shot and killed his 36 year old son Chue Vang because he refused to pay to get cable TV installed in their home. After killing him, he retreated into his bedroom and stabbed himself in the chest as police arrived at his house.

Vang told them that he “did not want to settle the issue in court. He would settle the dispute with his son when they reached the afterlife.” Awesome.

Vang had snapped when his son told him he could move out if he was angry about not having cable.

So who’s at fault here? Obviously it’s shocking that the son didn’t want to get cable but surely that’s not a murderable offense? Then again it’s generally not a good idea to mess with your dad if he’s the kind of guy who’d kill you and want to carry on beating the shit out of you in the afterlife. You’d think that’s something you’d know about him and probably would take extra care not to wind him up during disagreements. My dad isn’t perfect but he never made me feel like he’d murder me and follow me to the afterlife to murder me again. If he was that type of dude I’m quite sure I wouldn’t go against him in an argument over whether we should get cable.
