Melissa Murphy is a make up artist based out of LA who regularly works with porn stars applying their makeup before their big facial shots.

She’s recently started posting before and after shots of actresses on her Instagram and Twitter pages and the images have gone viral due to their revealing nature, and just how dolled up porno actresses get before their shoots. This probably shouldn’t really be that surprising to anyone that has ever watched porn, but when you actually see these images then it is actually kind of shocking.

Apparently Melissa has perfected the art of ‘sex proof’ make up – which means that it doesn’t run and the glossy lipstick stays on despite all the shenanigans that those wearing it get up to. Melissa hopes that by posting these pictures she’ll raise awareness of all the work that goes into making these women look beautiful for the camera, and also hopes that it will mean people are less intimidated by them in real life.
