Jeremy Clarkson has blamed “drunk friends” for a series of porn videos that were liked on his Twitter account… that old chestnut.

Clarkson came under fire after his 6.8 million followers saw the account liking a number of hardcore tweets including one posted by an account called DailySexVideos. The most recent was a random porn account showing a woman dancing in lingere, but there was also a video of a man and woman “engaging in a sexual act” – no prizes for guessing what that involved.

Lol. After realising the mishap, Clarkson was quick to tweet the following message:
Valuable lesson learned this morning about not leaving your phone unattended when there are drunk people about.
To be fair, the Twitter porn debacle comes just after Clarkson was rushed to hospital with pneumonia while on a family holiday in Mallorca, so I’m guessing that he is telling the truth – who has time to be searching through porn videos when they’re seriously ill? Clarkson is OK and recovering, but I reckon that’s the last time he’ll be leaving his Twitter account signed on around his buddies.
His social media accounts have been all over the place at the moment. It was only last month that he posted a photo of himself dabbing while stating that Majorca “is lit”. Old people just don’t belong on social media.
