4) Fallout 4 Would Seem Like A Walk In The Park
People that predict life would never flourish again on Earth might be over-exaggerating slightly. Nevertheless, the environment would certainly take tens, if not hundreds of years to recover from the damage caused by nuclear warfare.

Depending how many countries were involved and the severity of the conflict, the level of upset would be far greater than that depicted in Fallout 4. Worldwide temperatures would plummet and the chemicals thrown into the air by the bombs would probably cause all sorts of nasty rainfall. This would prevent any crops growing; if the toxicity of the bombs hadn’t already made the soil infertile, that is.
