In Canada, if you become a citizen you are granted a full year’s free pass to thousands of the country’s museums and galleries. This “Cultural Access Pass” helps newcomers get to grips with their fascinating and lengthy history and makes them feel welcome and part of the action.
Imagine what UKIP would say about that, I’m fairly sure Farage would choke up a lung – “Immigrants getting things for free!!! Disgrace!” etc. I’m going to phone David Cameron later and see if he’ll set that up for a laugh. Oh Farage, you dolt.
