Recently we featured the best video game trailer ever, well I think this could be the best movie trailer ever.I don’t know what the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is really other than some international bestseller that people who don’t really know anything books talk about all the time (I kinda view it in the same eyes as The Da Vinci Code, and anyway I prefer to read comic books and free books that are sent to me like Body Art) but WOW has tis trailer got me pumped for it. Other than the fact that Daniel Craig is in it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a good trailer. I think this is in no small part to the fact that the music in it just completely blows your face off when you watch it. And boy, do I mean it blows your face off. Don’t turn it up too loud or you might not have a face left afterward. Check out the trailer for The Girl With THe Dragon Tattoo below (maybe turn your speakers down first though):

The song is, of course, a cover of Led Zepellin’s classic ‘Immigrant Song’ by Trent Reznor (from Nine Inch Nails, who recently won an oscar for his soundtracking of The Social Network. That’s a great soundtrack by the way) and Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. If that isn’t enough to get you excited about it then I don’t know what is. I don’t know who directs trailers but I assume it’s the same guy as the director of the movie and once again David Fincher has put his unique stamp on a movie. I love David Fincher but hardly anyone seems to know who he is, which is disappointing considering he’s been responsible for SO MANY of people’s favourite movies that have actually been pretty huge box office hits too i.e. The Social Network, Fight Club, Seven (Se7en?) although he was also responsible for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button which was kind of lame. I love this trailer because it’s just a bunch of awesome visuals from the movie and really loud menacing music. It doesn’t tell you anything about the movie but man, do I want to see it now. Unfortunately I’ve gotta wait until Christmas. Maybe I’ll check out the novel of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Probably not.
