Burger Straws Are Japan’s Latest Food Trend

I always found it pretty weird when people would dip McDonald’s chips in their milkshakes, but today it looks like this has been topped by a bizarre new trend that has originated in (you guessed it) Japan.

It’s called Hamburger Straws and it basically involves getting a McDonald’s meal, taking the burger out of the box and putting it on top of the drink so that the straw goes through. I can’t really see the benefit of this aside from that it looks cute when you take a picture, but nonetheless, it appears to be taking the country by storm:
