There’s an urban legend going around America that there’s a fast food restaurant that accepts weed instead of money as payment for burgers and fries. From the looks of this video though it’s not an urban myth – it’s 100% true.
The guy in the video – who’s wearing his own personalised Barcelona shirt – pulls up to the drive thru with his bong in one hand and some dabs in the other and proceeds to ask the woman at the counter if it’s cool to pay for his meal like that. She doesn’t seem that down for it but a couple of other employees can’t get to the window fast enough for a hit off that bong. You don’t actually see them getting their food for free afterwards which is a bit of a cop out but it’s still jokes how they immediately leg it to the window to get a hit.
Of course loads of people are commenting on the video saying how the guys probably got fired and the guy driving the car is smoking weed irresponsibly and it’s going to set back the legalisation movement by years, but I really think they’re missing the point i.e. that now you can spend the last of your money on weed and not worry about getting hungry because you can trade some of it for food at the drive thru. The result all broke stoners have been looking for their entire lives, although it will probably lead to a whole lot more fast food horror stories.
