Instagram model Essena O’Neill is firing shots at the world of social media after coming to the revelation that photos of her generally looking very fit and happy in paradise were sending out the wrong message.

After amassing 500,000+ followers on Instagram, plus a shit ton more on YouTube and SnapChat, Essena decided to delete over 2,000 of her own photos (whoa there!) and deactivate her YouTube and Snapchat accounts as a means to expose the reality behind online modelling.
