The Dong Tao chicken is a special breed of chicken located in Vietnam that has the weirdest legs you will ever see on a chicken ever.
They kind of look like mutant or zombie legs and can apparently grow to be as thick as a human wrist. Gross. It’s literally insane how deformed and weird they are.
Having said that though, the Dong Tao chickens are also some of the most delicious in the world. Apparently their eggs are some of the best worldwide, as is their meat. They lay eggs less rarely than regular chickens – probably because their massive legs get in the way of their butts – but even so their eggs are so revered that their breeders make a lot of money. So is the meat off their legs too apparently but I don’t really want to be eating stuff that looks like that, do you?
