A Donald Trump sticker on a uni girl’s laptop was the cause of some trouble that kicked off over at St. John’s University in Queens, NY this week.

18-year-old student Clifford Durrard threatened to smash this girl’s laptop because of her brazen support for Trump. He sneakily took a photo of her and her laptop and shared it on Twitter as so:

As you can see he promises to smash the laptop if he picks up 7K retweets, which he did fairly easily — in fact he was retweeted 16,000 times in four hours.

Unfortunately for him, 20-year-old Brianna Algazali was soon notified that her picture was going viral and didn’t appreciate it very much.

NY Daily News describes what happened next:

She raised her voice and she threw her drink on him,” a friend of Durand told the Daily News. “He looked like he was in shock. I went towards him to hold him back.”

Some students present claimed that Durand struck Algazali after he was hit with the hot beverage. He admitted as much in one of dozens of tweets he sent before his account was suspended by the social media giant.

“SHE THREW HER STARBUCKS AT ME AFTER CUSSING ME OUT AND SHE GOT SHOVED IN THE NECK,” Durand tweeted after the Trump-induced dust-up.

“She asked him to take down the post and he said ‘make me,’ ” another student said.

It was unclear if there were any injuries related to the confrontation, though the school admitted it was aware of the Trump-emonium.

I get that despite being massively popular in the polls, Trump is also massively unpopular on the Internet. A polarising figure indeed. But to attack a 20-year-old girl just because she’s backing him? Just because she has her own opinion? Bit too far IMO. Not to mention the guy pussied out of smashing her laptop anyway and got emasculated in front of everyone for his troubles. Good for her I say.

Still, it’s never good news for anyone who openly professes their support for Trump online, as Dan Bilzerian found out.
