Apparently this all kicked off after the dude who’s giving the beating fed the other man’s dog a piece of bread. You don’t really feed another person’s dog without their permission so I suppose it makes sense why there’s a disagreement about it.

It might also explain why the dog then starts attacking its owner instead of the man battering him — maybe he wanted more bread?

I can’t imagine anything more disappointing than having your own dog attack you. I mean if your own dog thinks you’re a twat then what chance have you got really? Might have something to do with the fact he refers to his dog as “dog”. Proper meta hipster right there.
