It’s well known that Dave Grohl is one of the nice guys of rock and unsurprisingly it seems like those traits extend to his family as well.

The Foo Fighters were playing a festival to 20,000 people in Iceland over the weekend and out of nowhere drummer Taylor Hawkins announced that they were getting a special guest drummer for their next song, which turned out to be Grohl’s eight-year-old daughter Harper, who had only started learning to play the drums a couple of weeks ago. Nevertheless, she’s eager to get up in front of all these enthusiastic Icelandic people and play Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You’:

Well, OK she wasn’t great and can’t hit the drums that hard, but it’s still adorable and pretty dope that she’s willing to go up there and do that when she’s just eight years old. If she keeps practicing, who knows how good she could get? Here’s hoping for a Harper Grohl, Frances Bean Cobain supergroup in a few years, although I doubt that’s ever going to happen.
