1) Zdzisław Beksiński
Polish painter ZdzisÅ‚aw BeksiÅ„ski (1929-2005) was a master of the dark arts. His life was as bleak as his daubing; in the late 90’s his wife died of illness and his son committed suicide. In 2005 the son of his caretaker stabbed him to death because he wouldn’t lend him some money. His stuff is awesome, the header image is one of his too.
