Cristiano Ronaldo is an absolute sickhead when it comes to football – I think that’s pretty much indisputable – and he’s scored some absolutely incredible goals in his time with both Real Madrid, Portugal and Manchester United, but this one just might be the best yet.

Real Madrid were trailing 2-1 to Valencia with a couple of minutes to go and this was a result that would really have dented their title ambitions. Fortunately for them Ronaldo was present to pull out a sumptuous bit of incredible skill to save their blushes and leave them with a chance of clinching the title in a couple of weeks following Athletic Madrid’s slip up at Levante earlier yesterday.

The unbelievable chance was a back heeled volley in the last minute, and is normally the kind of thing you only ever see Zlatan Ibrahimovic get away with on the football field. Of course though, anything Zlatan can do Ronaldo can do better and he’s shown that here.
