Banksy is still managing to push the boundaries with his street art and this might be the best example of it yet.
He’s just recorded a two minute documentary of his visit to the Gaza Strip, where he completed four pieces. It’s presented like a holiday advert, only the reality isn’t what the slogans are saying. It’s powerful and essential viewing as we see what it’s like for the residents of the world’s largest prison yard – they’re surrounded by three walls and gunboats and aren’t allowed to leave. Props to Banksy yet again – this is a lot more important than his residency in New York last year.
