Axl Rose Is Set To Become The New Singer Of AC/DC

You might have heard that AC/DC singer Brian Johnson was forced to quit the band and not play music ever again on doctor’s advice because otherwise he risked losing his hearing forever. Turns out those signs you see at festivals and gigs about loud music damaging your hearing weren’t bluffing.

AC/DC had ten remaining shows booked in though, and Angus and the gang are in the process of auditioning someone who can finish them off in place of Brian. And according to Atlanta-based DJ Jason Bailey on his radio show, a ‘very, very good source’ has stated that it’s looking like it’s going to be Axl Rose:

From what I was told, this was all kind of new inside information to me, Angus is a very black and white guy. He’s like, Brian, for health reasons, can’t continue fronting the band.

He was supposed to retire after the last tour, so they wanted to continue going out on the road and continue making music, so if you can’t do it, we appreciate your services, but the show must go on.

They’re in town, they were auditioning people for the job, and then they flew Axl in, again, this is from my source.

Yeah well I don’t know who this Jason Bailey guy is or who his ‘very good source’ is either, so I don’t know how reliable this is but a lot of people seem to be talking about it so it’s highly likely that it might be true. I’m not really a big fan of AC/DC so it doesn’t really affect me that much either, but I’m fairly sure Axl could handle it and it’ll be a pretty big draw to get him in for those last shows and I doubt too many people would be disappointed. That is providing he can still actually sing, which is debatable judging by performances like these.

Good idea really. The only problem would be that Axl Rose looks like a big fat mess now, but I’m sure people could just close their eyes or something.
