Over in Manassas, Virginia, a 26 year old daycare teacher has been convicted of cruelty and several other counts of abuse towards children after she was found guilty of setting up a ‘baby fight club’ amongst the two year olds she was supposed to be looking after.

Kiera Spriggs was convicted of six counts on Tuesday and was acquitted of 14, whilst also being found not guilty of three after a two week trial. A teacher named Sarah Jordan has also been convicted as part of the case.

The prosecutor Ashleigh Landers stated that the two would set up a pen in the classroom and make the toddlers fight each other for their own amusement, even encouraging twin sisters to beat the crap out of them. Several of their colleagues testified against them during the case, as well as some of the parents of the kids who noticed that their kids were coming home all banged up, kinda like in the movie where Edward Norton goes to work with a smashed up face.

Bizarrely, one of the teachers also noted that Spriggs made one of the babies eat a Flamin’ Hot Cheeto, which was way too hot for him and caused him to start crying. Although I don’t agree with the baby fight club, I don’t think that this is that bad. Kid needs to man up.
